Hand & Brain Chess Tournament
Rules: Two players make a team. One member of the team tells his/her partner the name of a piece to move. The other player then makes a move with a piece of that type. You can castle if your partner says ‘king’, but not for ‘rook’. No coordinates are given and the final move is done by the Hand player.

Bughouse Team Chess (or Siamese Chess)
Bughouse Chess is played on two chessboards by four players in teams of two. Normal chess rules apply, except that captured pieces on one board are passed on to the teammate on the other board, who then has the option of putting these pieces on their board on an empty square. You can either put down a piece or make a legal move but not both. Pieces can be placed to give check but not checkmate. Pawns cannot be put in the 1st or 8th rank. The game will be played with clocks at a fast time control for more fun and chaos.

The activities are purely educational and are not related to competitive chess.
